The gifted potter supports his family through his family business, which has been in operation since 1857.

He is fiercely proud of his craftsmanship and each piece is unique and lovingly hand made and hand painted.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find such workmanship in a world becoming dominated by cheap mass-produced and machine printed ceramics.

LOSE WEIGHT EASILY

Each bowl produced by the potter is an original and is hand painted, toxin free and suitable for microwave and dishwasher use. White clay is used and the glazing is lead free.

The Cretan bowls can be used during your time on the Cretan Bowl Diet to help you easily lose weight. And once you have reached your healthy shape and weight you can use the bowl as a pretty ornament to hold potpourri etc.

The Mediterranean Sea lends its name to the light blue colour highlighted on this range of Cretan bowls. Continuing with the marine theme, Poseidon, ancient Greek god of the sea inspired the artist to add the deep blue contrast.
The depth of colours reflects the deep blue oceans that surround this magical island of Crete.

The base colour for this piece is a light Mediterranean blue with deep Poseidon Blue used to highlight the rim and base of this beautiful object. A traditional olive fruit pattern decorates the surface.

Citrus Orange

The thousands of orange groves that burst with vibrant citrus fruits on the beautiful Greek island of Crete are the inspiration for the bright and dramatic colour depicted on the Citrus Orange Range of Cretan Bowls. And as homage to the deep blue seas that Crete is surrounded by the contrast colour is a rich Poseidon blue, named after the ancient Greek god of the sea. The base colour for this piece is a Citrus orange with deep Poseidon Blue used to highlight the rim and base of this pretty crafted piece. A traditional olive fruit pattern decorates the surface.
